MediaSwitch is a young company which makes use of the most recent technologies and best equipment available to digitize film, video and slides.
The expertise and experience of our staff are the keys achieving top quality results.
Henk Tyberghein, the MediaSwitch owner-manager, lived in Holywood and studied photography and film. He worked in the photo and film industry for over 30 years for companies as ILFORD Photo and Panasonic.
He started MediaSwitch in 2010 to meet the need in the market for digitizing 8 mm, 9,5 mm and 16 mm movie, video and slides to professional standards of quality, but at prices within the ordinary consumers’ range.
The framescanner which MediaSwitch uses, the Müller HM73, was designed specifically to retrieve everything from the film, capturing every last grain of emulsion. Our scanning is ideal for watching home movies on present-day High Definition flatscreens.
By scanning uncompressed in HD, the results may also be stored on hard disk as digital archive.
The video equipment MediaSwitch uses are the top segment of the range. As such we can take over all types of cassettes in Hi-Fi stereo.
